A couple of points:
1) Their schedule rest of the way: Ravens, at Browns, at LOLfins, Rams, Patriots, Clots, at 49ers, LOLfins, at Patriots, Bills. Unless Bowles has lost the team, one would think there should be at least 4 wins among the Browns, Rams, 49ers, Clots, and 2 LOLfins games. This should save them from the top 5 at least, anyway.
2) Jets draft picks in the Top 10 over the last 10 years:
- 2015: Leonard Williams
- 2013: Dee Milliner
- 2009: Mark Sanchez
- 2008: Vernon Gholston
Basically, even if they get a top 10 pick, history shows they'll have a 75% chance of screwing it up. Strangely enough they have a better record (although still not great) with 1st rounders outside the top 10.
