i dunno...JG looks turned away and disengaged. something must be up
"He's angry at Brady for stealing his job Mike! Belichick has gone soft handing the job back to Brady! First he hires his sons and now favors for Tom! He's lost it Mike!"

Marty has been a pleasure to observe on & off the field.

Not sure what the team's plans are but having this guy around long term would not be a bad thing.

FWIW, the rumor is that on his previous teams the locker room soured on him a bit, kinda in the vein of Randy Moss / Brandon Marshall. Which is something to consider moving into the future, I guess, but given his talent I'm all for giving him a chance. Maybe he just needed to be in the right situation, maybe winning cures everything, maybe Belichick gets sick of him and jettisons him after getting a couple years of production. I'm fine with any of those outcomes.

Also, I'm hesitant to hold it against anyone if they get fed up with a locker room that's led by Cutler and Marshall.

Yea I've heard the same thing.

We'll see. So far so good.

Seeing Julian's foot mentioned is never a good sight.
Hope its just a scare like in preseason.

Idk whats up with his foot but it better be ready to go up somebody's ass on sunday

Oh boy......

Did anybody else notice him lagging a bit on that 90 yard catch and run that they called back? I know that's a long way but he seemed to be struggling a bit towards the end and even got caught by a linebacker. We've seen him go full speed for 90 yard punt returns without letting up at all so it caught my eye.

I'm hoping it's nothing but I thought it was a little concerning.

BUT WHICH FOOT IS IT???

I absolutely agree...he sort of favored the foot after that catch...didn't seem like it bothered him after because he stayed in.
Generally speaking, if Edelman's issue were very serious I assume he'd DNP today, not limited. We shall see tomorrow.

He was full participant yesterday. Limited could mean he started but not finished the practice (or was just limited part of the practice). If he is limited tomorrow might not be the worst thing ..

Yeah, not to overdo it but if there's any negative developments re: his foot I'd be fine with the Pats shelving him for now and giving him some time to heal. Between Hogan, Amendola, Mitchell and whoever would have to be called up from the PS, I feel pretty decent about WR depth if Edelman has to miss some time.

Hopefully it's not that, though, and this is just them taking it easy on him a bit in practice as a precautionary measure.

"Developing situation". Oh the drama and trepidation! WTF do these mediots think it is, a terrorist attack? A "developing situation" is a hostage crisis. It's a big storm that may hit. It's the stock market crashing. It is NOT Julian Edelman being listed as "limited" on the injury report. And to quote the master, "************"

Now I don't exactly know why Julian was "limited" today, but what I DO know is that if it wasn't real, they would have made something up anyway. We can't have a day go by with a "developing situation" happening to lament about. Can we?
