Tom is reserved and a little stiff but I give him credit for the SNL appearance and a couple of the funnier ads that he has done.

The thing about envy is invariably the target is not living in the bed of roses others imagine. I'd love to be TB, but he has challenges like the rest of us. What we know is the violation of his honor over the DeflateGate nonsense, but there are other things we probably don't know....there was a thread speculating a family member may have cancer.

IMO: Jealousy is by far the main reason. He's a terrific role model and by most accounts, a really nice guy.

When Charlie Rose asked Gisele to describe Tom Brady in one word, her answer was "Kind." She said he's kindest person she's ever met. That says it all to me.

I've always felt that people hate Tom Brady because he doesnt aestetically represent the "meat and potatoes" sensibilities of middle America. He doesnt doesnt appear as an "everyman" to most of america. Fans and Media personnel feel that guys like roethlisburger, Favre, and Manning are guys that you can have a beer with and talk about pickup trucks and lawnmowers. They are seen as tough, rugged, blue collar guys and brady is seen as a metrosexual wuss. The funny part is favre, roethlisberger and,manning parade their injuries all season to boost their legend and build an excuse. While Brady plays through the season quietly only to find out the serious injuries hes played though at seasons end. Tom is seen like the rich boy who won the lottery. Its hard for people to support or feel sympathy for a guy they percieve to be like that.

People hate Brady because he wins, works hard, is handsome, has a hot wife, is ****y... sh!t, if I wasn't a Pats fan, I'd probably hate him too. It's human nature. I'm just glad as hell we've got the best ever. Really, he's too good to be true. I truly believe he is as genuine as anybody on this planet. What level do we hold people to? Just look at yourself. (Me included). And society is just drooling at the chance to bring him down. But this MFer is smarter than all of them. That really is the beauty of the whole thing. We win, you lose. Deal with it. When he's gone, We'll deal with it. Till then, suck it!!!

I guess the last part is the problem. Sad to say, Americans today are conditioned to be losers. It's ok to fight as the scrappy underdog, so long as you don't win.

And boy, does he win...like you said, champion, supermodel wife, tons of money, and a smile on his face. He'd have been universally loved in years past.

Tom is a bad husband for arguing with his wife. Mrs RW and I never argue.
