JAG is a Nancy/upcoming commentary on sports talk radio, especially during the afternoon drive on 98.5

No Jimmy G Thang today.

Makes you appreciate Brady's durability aside from the knee injury in 07. Brady's a tough guy.

I'm very surprised that JG isn't playing. I can't pretend to know the pain he is in so maybe he just can't do it. But I'm a little disappointed...this was an important game for him to play.

This game got a lot tougher.

Jimmy G cost himself some good money with that stupid scramble

Our last glimpse of Jimmy G Thang was probably when he got whacked by kiko alonso.

He'll probably be on the Bears next year.

But...but...I thought they were forcing him to play.

It isn't a pain issue, it's an arm strength issue. They tested him out and decided jacoby is the better option today.

Was hoping to see Jimmy in there today...now, I'm thinking we see a lot of handing the ball to Blount today.

As long as the OL continues to grind like it has been, I'm fine with that.

Narrative 1:

Those heartless Patriots. Shoot a guy full of painkillers and send him out -- don't care if he ends up a cripple or a vegetable.
OK, scrub that, so it's on to Narrative 2:

Garoppolo's soft. Brady would have played through that, no question.

The Bills got shredded by a running Fitzpatrick and short passes. So much pressure on he Bills now, both they and thier coach might fold.

Even if they win, it's a hollow victory.

This is actually good for us this year because you never know if you might need Jimmy later in the year if Brady goes down. It's better for Jimmy to rest and get to 100%. We don't really need this game.3-1 when Brady comes back works out well. Plus we get JB some real reps.

Resigning to a loss 2 hours before the game starts? Is this a record?

The Bills being without Watkins, Salas, and Kouandijo is a huge bonus for the Pats. I still say the Pats will need to play mostly man coverage with someone spying on Taylor and McCoy. Losing Kouadijo will hurt the Bills running game. I am a bit concerned with only having Brown, Branch and Valentine in the middle, but it is what it is. I hope that Hightower is back today and that he's got the mobility to help stop McCoy.

The rumors that Brissett is starting and that Garoppolo will be inactive helps give us an idea of what to expect. Lots of Blount Force Trauma. Hoping that this, combines with Gronkowski, Edelman, Hogan, and Bennett will give Brissett more security to shine and show us what he's got..
