I do my best BB impersonation to the wife all the time. She probably thought I was the biggest nutcase for the first couple years of our marriage.

It was probably because you include the many sniffs and throat clearers he does

Color rush jerseys are quickly growing on me. I wish I lived in a location that wasn't a few miles away from Heinz field so I could wear one in peace.

Good for Brock getting his money. Cashing in makes sense when you might possibly suck

One of my best friends out here in LA is a Raiders fan. He never totally got over the tuck rule, so he kinda hates the Pats. It's a respectful hate, in that he acknowledges Belichick is the GOAT and has grudgingly come around on Brady at least being in the conversation in his own right. I invited him and his girlfriend (also a huge Raiders fan) over to my place tonight because they "wanted to see me sweat for once".

They did not get what they hoped for. I think I'm at the point where I'm no longer capable of taking the Texans seriously as a threat to actually beat us.

texans fans trying to come up with a list of positives from the game:

My wife just cam eup with a positive so I'm adding it to the list.

TOP TEN POSITIVES FROM TONIGHTS GAME

1.) At least we got embarrassed in this game early in the season, so now hopefully these guys are humbled moving forward and things just get better from here
2.) Teams will look past us so we will have element of surprise if we ever get good.
3.) Lechler is good and we need a good punter. Plus he is good at challenges. And when our coach is confused, he can always ask Lechler what to do.
4.) It only counts for 1 game.
5.) We did actually cross the 50 yard line once. And Hopkins got some first downs. I know we like to celebrate that here in our house.
6.) "We knocked the shoe off of that one guy."

I learned on tonight's absolutely absurd Game Thread that there were some Thuney haters. Well feast your eyes on this.

And speaking of that Game Thread, man did it suck. Considering the fact that we DIDN'T GIVE UP A SINGLE POINT, but "Nuk" (DeAndre Hopkins) caught some crazy stuff over Ryan and a few calls weren't made by BB and the offense had a few troubles early on were enough for some people to say "This team is stupid" among other things. Shame on those people. Like I said, you root for a very good team. 31 other fanbases are jealous of us at this very moment. We should take pride in what they have accomplished. Not saying don't have concerns about anything, but to say things like "The D sucks" when it gave up a goose egg is unreal.

Malcom Mitchell showed some skills yet to come.

Wait till Brady gets dialed in, Mitchell will be a Beast.
I was confident in his hands, but in two plays, he checked off about 4 other boxes on my list of what a good WR is.

Q:Jacoby what are you most proud about what YOU did tonight?

A: This TEAM. Being a part of this TEAM.

He impresses me every time when he speaks. Man does he sound like a total "mature beyond his age" kid.
I like him a lot and hope he goes on to have a nice career for himself.

Now THAT was a complete team performance. Easily our best game since last years divisional game against the Chiefs.

Coaching was excellent, defense was great, special teams was immaculate all around (kick coverage, forced fumbles, great punts from Allen). Offensive line was also a plus and Blunt continues to deliver. Brissett did about as well as anyone could have hoped for. I was positively giddy after his TD run.

Really? That's surprising to me, considering that he's looked pretty good so far. As a matter of fact, there are at least 3-4 other OL who I'd choose to complain about over Thuney. He looks like a great draft pick to me.
