Incredible if he makes that quick of a recovery....

2 weeks ago we were praying for 2-2 and all of a sudden we had a real shot at 4-0 and a franchise QB for another 10-12 years at least.

We? What we? I was not. Just because 40% of this board doubted the Patriots doesn't mean you can use "We". You should speak for yourself and use the "I" statement.

I think TJ Yates would be my first choice of what is available. With a short week and a rookie QB, maybe we don't have the coaching time to get a new person ready. Just go wildcat with one of the smurfs this week if the unthinkable happens. If we do not have someone in uniform today, I have a hard time seeing them suit up on Thursday night.

Where did you hear this? Haven't seen that reported anywhere; your post is the first I've heard of it.
It's what I heard yesterday but I could now be wrong, especially since I also heard that Cleveland may present a better opportunity for him with RGIII being out and now McCown getting hurt. That may have been the hold up, with Cleveland jumping in late when they heard about Yates coming to Foxboro.

p.s. with no announcement as of yet I think Cleveland certainly may have gummed up the works.

It was just a way of saying. People had different hopes to these 4 games, some pessimistic, some optimistic. A good amount of people had 2-2 hopes so answering you question those are the we.

I sincerely doubt he plays next week. The only question is who they sign to back up Brissett. Smart money is on Hoyer.
I see you are hoping Hoyer pulls a Blount and leaves the game early tonight

It is possible to play with a sprained ac joint. It is all about pain management.

I am thinking we see jimmy at some point Thursday night if the game is close.

Personally, if I were Jimmy, and making a purely business decision, I don't know that I'd even want to play the last two games. If I've just put together six quarters of great film on myself for this quarterback-starved league to see, why would I want to play with an injury to my throwing shoulder (the entire livelihood for a quarterback) and drive my good stats down, make teams wonder if I'm injury prone, possibly risk further injury, etc. Seems like a nothing to gain and lots to lose proposition, again from a purely personal, selfish, business-decision perspective.
