Donks fans are confident their team will prevail. They are tailgating and having fun while the rest of us work. The party has started early here in Denver. 9am MST

Donks win this one going away. Elway is proclaimed a genius yet again and Trevor gets the front page of SI next week. Book it.

Carolina is not a good football team. Cam Newton is all they have and he won't be enough to beat the Donks at home.
"Carolina is not a good football team"??? You're either joking or drinking...or both...

This is one of those games the pats need the broncos to lose....HFA is everything.

I didn't watch a single throw by the new Broncos QB so I really don't know what expect from this game, I was leaning towards Carolina but this Broncos defense is still good, they play in their stadium, Kubiak is not an spectacular coach but he has many years on this league will not try to reinvent the wheel, he is gonna play this game to their strength, insane defense and running the ball just like they did last year.

Carolina is good but in game #3 off the pre season I was not that impressed, we generated a lot of pressure and Newton couldn't do much, I'm not convinced Ron Rivera is a top coach so I think the Broncos have a fair shot at winning tonight.

I think Denver fans are gonna find out how screwed they are at the QB position.

broncos fans are delusional. their argument is that they won with a bad QB last year and can basically repeat with the same formula. but when has a team in NFL history that won the SB with a lights out defense and bad QB repeat following year? it hasn't happened.

Have you seen any tape on Siemian or whatever his name is? I'm asking because I didn't. For all the crap Mark Sanchez gets he can at least give the ball to a running back and complete a pass or 2, this kid outplayed him so I believe he can game manage at least.

I fully expect the Broncos to win. The Panthers are coming into one of the toughest places to play in the league on opening night against a defense that completely trampled them seven months ago. I think it will be a relatively low-scoring affair, but the Broncos will pull it out in the end. I took the Broncos as a 3-point dog and ran with it.

Let's be honest though, outplaying Mark Sanchez is a relatively easy task. Geno Smith did it, and we know how that turned out.

yeah but anything QB related was a nuclear mess in NJ back then, Sanchise coming back shoulder injury, big salary from that hilarious money they threw at him, so I don't read much into that, both are garbage but Sanchez was and still is much better than Geno.

I didn't see all-22 but just the pre season. So I don't know exactly how good he is. From what I've seen, he reminds me of Kirk cousins or Alex Smith.

What are some other games you guys will be interested in on Sunday?

Jags Packers intrigues the hell out of me. It would sure be something to watch the young Jags pull off the upset.

OAK NO is gonna be a high scoring game...I think OAK can win it just because the Saints D is in flux still with a new coach. Also want to watch CIN-NYJ which I get here in NY. Might be a playoff preview.

I was actually just about to mention Oakland Saints as well. Only difference is that Oakland should be more favored in that game.

There are other games? I'm not watching, because of Goodell. Not even the Super Bowl, if the Patriots are not in it. Yes, I'm serious. He destroyed my love of the NFL as a whole, leaving only love for the Patriots.

I'm sure like everyone else, I will be rooting for Carolina tonight. Not so much that Denver is the biggest threat to us, just because I really, really, really can't stand them. lol

GIants cowboys ought to be good if Dak Prescott plays well.

I'm torn between wanting the Broncos to do decently just to avoid the "look how important Manning is that the team got way worse after he retired!" narrative and wanting them to suck because they're the Broncos.

Jags vs. Packers. I want to see how the new pieces on Jacksonville's defense come together and how they handle that passing attack.
