We play 3 LBs about 15% of the snaps. And when we did, the 3rd would be McClellan not Freeney.

You're right about the first part, but McClellan has been a DE here.

Going to need this defense to be on top of it's game much earlier than usual this season.

Not a huge fan of this trade because the Pats had to give up a fifth for him especially since they don't have a fourth next year either.

Thirteen picks and they are likely to screw up 12 of them.

But speaking purely as a draft geek I'm jealous. As a fan of football though, not so much

Ryan and Harmon could net 4th and 5th comp picks potentially.

Josh Gordon?
Are Branch and Knighton both on this team.

Yes yes we know you want to trade for an entire fleet of wide receivers and we should stash wide receivers on the practice squad and teach wide receivers how to play defense so we have more depth at wide receiver and perhaps we could have wide receivers who wide receiver wide receiver wide receiver wide receiver wide receiver wide recei...

Sorry, my brain short-circuited trying to channel your obsession. What incentive would there be for Cleveland to trade Josh Gordon at the bottom of his trade value when he's making nothing? Especially considering he's probably the most talented player on the team? Just because Cleveland makes a trade doesn't mean it has to involve Josh Gordon.

He intercepted Manning last year. Must be a stud. Oh wait, just about everybody intercepted Manning last year.

A fifth-rounder, tad high. Ayers was traded along with a seventh for a sixth.

Looks like Bob Quinn was in on Mingo too.

5th rounder is a lot

No not really BB is known to draft 5th Rounders in the Second anyway...ie Dropson - Tavon Wilson and Jordan Richards. BB have a way of making up the difference in the 7th round and with UDFA's.

With cuts coming across the league, I have a feeling this isn't our last addition this summer, especially after the second rounds of cuts. I assume (probably incorrectly) that BB might want to upgrade our RB and OT positions? Someone like a Brian Waters type of situation, but an OT? Please god... please?

They do have a 4th next year. Acquired it and a 2016 7th rounder (used on Devin Lucien) from the Seahawks for a 2016 5th rounder and a 2016 7th rounder. The Patriots get to retain the worse of the 4th round picks, their own or Seattle's.
