J Jones a bit nicked up but seems okay. I might have him sit a few plays and look at it though. It is just preseason and you have other CBs worth looking at. I hate to push it.

My recollection is that dislocated elbows are not typically season Enders. The most vivid in my memory is Koy Detmer. I think he missed 3 or 4 weeks with a very grotesque dislocation. Although each case is unique...

I view him as a backup, goal line type roleplayer at this point

That's assuming he stops ****y footing around in short yardage spots.

That he plays ST is a really good sign for his future.

Jones is playing hurt clearly. Brave but not smart. Get him off the field please somehow and sit him for the game. Lets not make it worse. He is clearly moving a little slower. I worry sometimes they leaves these slightly injured guys in then they get hurt bad.

He will be IRed. Whether he returns will be decided later, like mid season.

I believe each team gets one player to IR who can return later. I would think they'd save it for a more significant player.

Tale of 2 quarters. Started off slow but heated up well in the 2nd quarter. A few bad throws but overall seemed like and NFL starter to me. How good he will be remains to be seen as he needs to be more consistent.
