Valentine looks really fit in comparison to his college conditioning. Looks thinner especially in his midsection.

Let's say Gaffney emerges and the team feels comfortable moving on from Blount, does Blount work in the NFL again? He was allowed to court teams and I don't think even one brought him in for a workout. He just looks like he's running in quicksand every time and he's a 250-pound RB who rarely (if ever) runs anyone over. I liked him so much at Oregon before his troubles. I liked him here mostly. But I just don't see it now. 2.2 ypc? C'mon. That's Trent Richardson ****.

If they IR Mitchell it won't be until final cuts because they will not risk passing him through waivers now. That will allow some time for him to heal if it is really just a dislocation.

IR does not have to pass thru waivers. Team isn't giving up rights to the player.

Anyone could have gotten that TD. I want Gaffney to be good but what happened was not proof of that.

I view him as a backup, goal line type roleplayer at this point
