I only blame NFL and goodell for this . 1st rounder gone, brady suspension back on, so had to get a QB somewhere.

How about in the 5th through 7th rounds after filling other needs. Or how about a good QB like Cook or Hogan.

BB blew this one really bad. Bad pick and a huge stupid reach.

Yea it feels real dirty... I'm able to stomach NFL Network more than ESPN

I missed just about the entire draft tonight while i was out, I came home turned on NFL Network real quick to get an idea of where they were at and like 30 seconds later Kevin Faulk comes out to announce the Pats pick with a Brady jersey lol...

So good!

I'm now done watching NFL Network for the night

Do you see it as a back up move in the event the Patriots move JAG for draft capital? I understand the hedging the bets mentality and I understand the need to protect the position it just seems meh.

Hey Bill we don't have a run game

And without one, they are cooked. I think they have become so reliant on their quick passing game they don't see the need for a run game.

Problem is, when a team can play defensively like the '10 Jets and then '15 Broncos, the lack of an above average run game will put a quick end to your season. This is my biggest fear.

yay a wasted 3rd rounder only because Brady is suspended. So really we lost 2 high draft picks over that stupid ********. **** you goodell.

No way, there are other work arounds for that, a 3rd rounder rookie and a 6th would have the same effect if throw into fire in case Jimmy G goes down. That was a selection they made for other reasons, anyway WTF

I do see some reasoning behind the pick. Not only will he serve as JG's backup in the first several games. MAYBE he turns out to be a viable backup and Grop is easier to part with.

But I don't know **** about this kid so hard to say.
