It's easy, and only takes a few moments. It's Kraft that needs to be boycotted, he did **** all as an owner but bow down to Goodell. Instead of going to bat for the player that made him the owner he is and turned this Franchise into what it is, belated down.
Boycotting the NFL as pats fans won't nearly do as much as boycotting Kraft due to their being 31 other franchises.
#ScrewKraft
Thats too muchnot a single **** would be given if that scum goodell got ball cancer later today. ruined football
no chance that ever happens
the judges even ruled on the remaining issues. so much for bermans " bulletproof " case..
all of the lawyers on here ended up being completely wrong...
i wonder if tom will say anything...his offseason has basically been destroyed. all of the wr's/te's need to start working with jimmy G
To be fair, there's been a whole string of SCOTUS cases gutting oversight of arbitration cases for the last decade. Not just labor arbitration, but consumer arbitration as well. Arbitrators basically have carte blanche without any court oversight except on procedural grounds, and the CBA cedes binding arbitration to the NFL without any reservation.
Well, Ihope that all of New England follows up with PatsFans.com's idea to skip watching the 1st day of the draft.
Personally, I'd like to get the mailing addresses for the judges who ruled to uphold this suspension. I'd like to mail them a small leather bag with 30 pieces of silver in it. I understand that that is the going rate for selling out and betraying a trust.
Believe it or not, alot of ESPN analysts are very pro Brady right now. Watch Michael Smith and he basically sounded like someone that would be on here.
So now any boss in the country can accuse an employee of something as impossible as violating the laws of physics, then make up some BS 'evidence' at third remove from the events and the facts, suspend said employee, hear his appeal himself, and, based on the boss's fake facts and spurious evidence, uphold the employee's suspension? And now there is no recourse for the employee but to go to the Supreme Court? Insane! Just insane.
I think at this point, any labor union has to assume that it will exist in a perpetual state of open war with management. That seemed pretty clear before now, but this pretty much codifies it. Have to fight for every scrap, and assume that every concession that isn't explicitly granted to you will be interpreted against you in the worst possible way. This only changes if the next SC justice is a pro-labor progressive, which I don't see happening.
Now I've seen it all. A Jet's fan coming over to cheer us up. No offense, but I don't think anyone around here give's a rat's *** what you think at this moment. On the bright side, the suspension doesn't interfere with any Jet/Pat games. Those matchups are like mini-playoff games. Wouldn't be the same w/o Brady.
Could prove to be even more interesting this season if the Pats start off slow. Doubtful a wildcard will come out of the division this year, so our two late season matchups could be huge.
That why this will be a lost season. People aren't seeing the big picture. Hogan and Bennett will have next to zero chemistry with TB in game situation. They will be lucky to go 10-6 this season because of that. If the have an injury to Gronk or Edelman I will drop that further. This was the goal of the NFL which is why the maddening game plans and play at junctures last season were so terrible. That was the one best lash chance to win it all again. Maybe not the last, but the best last chance.
What a way to ruin a Monday morning lol **** the NFL
