Edit again---well looks like Eagles aren't going Elliott (smart) but wow look at those quotes from Howie. They're a dumb team. We're lucky to have 3 GMs better than most teams have.
Heard Deshaun Watsons a huge prospect next year. They will have two first that'll likely be top 10 picks. So they'll have leverage to move. That sign while bad, will seem stunningly horrible in 2045.
This trade will do nothing for them. Nothing. Might make them competitive, but no QB no Bueno.
Unless they plan on tanking this year for a QB they like next year. Any ideas who that may be?
The Patriots just cut a 1st round draft pick before he even played out his contract. They also drafted Adrian Klemm, Laurence Maroney, Brandon Meriweather, and Patrick Chung (round 1) with their first picks in a given draft over the Belichick era. They've taken players like Jake Bequette and Tavon Wilson on day 2 of the draft. They may be slightly better than their opponents at drafting, though this appears mostly thanks to big (lucky) hits like Brady and Gronk, but otherwise it's just a huge crapshoot.

11 mil signing bonus and 7 mil salary for 2016. Crazy. Bradford is an average QB who will be 29 this year and has never been able to stay on the field.
Belichicks 1st Round Picks have been very good. He also is picking late in the first round every year. IMO, he is the best in the league at rebuilding his team through the draft.

I don't understand why you'd need a top 1-2 pick at QB if your "plan" is to groom that QB over a year or two.
Replacement-level: Graham, Watson, Solder
Yeah, I said in another thread that I thought the deal could prove good or bad for the Browns, but I ultimately felt it could respresent way more good than bad for them . . . until someone pointed out (and rightfully so) that it's still the Browns and they'll find a way to screw it up. I can't argue with that. LOLGreat trade by the Browns

Eagles acquire 2 overall and a 4th round pick in 2017 from CLeV. Browns receive 8th overall pick, a 3rd (#77 overall), a 4th (#100 overall), a 1st round pick in 2017 and a 2nd round pick in 2018.
Busts: Klemm, Redmond, Williams, Johnson, Hill, Scott, Jackson, Thomas, Wheatley, Crable, Brace, Butler, Tate, McKenzie, Cunningham, Price, Dowling, Mallett, Wilson, Bequette, Chung (prior to return)
Replacement-level: Hobbs, Kaczur, Harmon, Ryan, Dobson(?)
Good players: Spikes, Ridley, Vereen, Wilson
Blue chip: Gronkowski, Vollmer, Collins, Branch, Light
Can a player really be considered a bust if they are a starter for another team?
A poor draft choice? sure, but calling Darius butler, Ryan mallett, and chung busts seems wrong. Mallett has started for two other teams(granted he flamed out a bit) chung is a starter for OUR team, after being a starter here and philly. and darius butler has been solid if underwhelming for the colts
I think if a player played in our system for more then one season, or maybe just didn't fit with this team but has had a decent career elsewhere you can't really call it a bust, more like a failed opportunity.
Ohh it is, you should see his other videos. Go to his youtube page and you will see this is completely real! That can't be real.
