"Color Rush" colors for the season

It would be tough for me to boycott Microsoft and Ford. I drive a Ford and have Microsoft Windows on my laptop.

Sometimes I drive around in my Ford with my laptop while drinking a Gatorade.

Have a coke and a smile. Look at it this way. How easy would it be to avoid that sponge crust with ketchup and cheese that Peyton hawks?

I think I have had Peyton's crusty pizza once in my life and ironically that was when I went to the "Free Brady" rally last year. It was free pizza though. Does that count?

But as far as boycotting goes I think for me it is happening naturally.

1. I will not watch any TNF games this year unless it is the Pats. I cut my cable down to basic because I no longer want or need to have BSPN, NFL or access to TNF.

2. I won't use Verizon because their customer service sucks ass especially when traveling out of country. They like to send me 800 dollar monthly bills.. AT&T is much much better in that regard.

3. I will not drink Budweiser probably because I lived too many years in Germany and drank much thicker beers.

4. I'm close to 50 years old so I only drink diet coke if any soda at all.

5. Have no clue what Primesport is.

6. Fanduel - I don't gamble except for a few bucks a month on Powerball.

7. P&G - Don't know if I buy their products or not.

8. Geico- Refuse to purchase insurance from a lizard (or whatever it is).

So I naturally boycott 8 out of the 11 you listed.

That ain't so bad is it?

Can't kick the Gatorade, eh?
I don't like Gatorade, so that's a boycott I could join and not even change my routine.

I do, however, like driving cars, using computers, and owning a cell phone.

I was actually kind of curious about what the heck the percentages associated with that list actually meant. It can't be saying that 100% of Gatorade's commercials are on NFL broadcasts. So what does the 100% (and all other corresponding percentages) actually represent?

The percentage of us who are still pissed off over the NFL's incompetent behavior.

Cowboy's "Color Rush" is white, i.e. colorless. Win all around this promotion.

Don't the Cowboys try to wear white jerseys as much as possible? Usually, opposing teams have to do something unusual, like wear their white road jerseys at home, to get Dallas to switch to their blue jerseys.

So, the big change for the "color rush" promotion for Dallas will be white pants. That's going to get people to tune in and buy more merchandise.

Jeez, I hope the Jets don't play the seahawks.

Gotta say, I don't know why but Geico charged me less than half all the other companies I tried when I became a car owner. The lizard (gecko)'s good.

Wanted to remark on this:

Gatorade is marketed as a "electrolysis replacement drink" that's "high in potassium" but also has an obscene amount of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and brominated vegetable oil.

What they, naturally, don't want you to know is that pure coconut water gives you just about the same thing minus all the nasty chemicals, at 1/3 the price.

Of course the taste is something else, but IMO a small price to pay.

I got a little curious as well.

It's the percentage of NFL properties that are aligned with that particular brand.

Here's my solution for Thursday night:

Essentially, they want to make the Patriots look like the Chiefs, Cardinals or old Bills.

They should just do this if they want red pants:

I think Goodell should dance out to the 50 yard line in a pink TuTu before every Thursday night game, to set the mood.

After these games, I think we're all gonna wish we were colorblind.
Good stuff. I'm surprised that I gave this the first "funny" rating. Definitely deserves more.

"Color Rush" is a stupid idea that brings nothing to the field, somewhere in the bowels of the NFL offices some turd came up with this idea because it might attract .0005% more viewers in East Shaboygan.. and they can sell more NFL jerseys that are bought by non involved NFL spouses who think that is a good idea to buy this jersey..

The Red will probably be a shade different from the regular red jerseys, so now you can have two different color red jerseys...

I think the whole "Color Rush" concept is idiotic as it embarrasses a well respected product by making the teams wear silly uniforms.

I am, however, not opposed to teams wearing alternate jerseys on Thursday nights. But let me be clear, let the teams design and decide what their alternate jerseys they want to use. The alternates don't have to be throwback jerseys but could be. I'm sure teams can be counted upon to come up with better alternate jersey designs than the putrid color rush ones.

A throwback Thursday theme would be sick. Complete with a throwback field as well (like the NBA does sometimes). You never get to see both teams in a game throwback, it's always just the home team. Could be a hella fun to do. Would love to see the Pats white throwback every other year or so.
