Besides not picking up Browner's option, signing Branch to this contract is the stupidest off-season move the FO has made, so far.

I would've signed Kendrick Ellis or Sheard's teammate Ahtyba Rubin for half the $ that Branch will "earn". Of course, signing Nick Fairley or Terrance Knighton to those 1-year deals would've been better than all of the above.

Vince signed a 2 year/$9m ($5m gtd) deal and Branch signed a 2 year/$4.3m ($700k gtd) deal

And as we know Browner was the worst CB in the league last year.


His shtick is old
