2016 Draft Prospect Thread

I would take Sheldon Day With the 3rd comp pick or later and just have him as someone who covers Easley and his injury problems.

Interesting stat. I do wonder if we try to bring in Chris Jones. While not the same caliber of our old friend big ol Seymour, I do think he's got a similar body type and play style.

Since Belichick tried to be in on Spiller and tried to sign Chris Johnson most recently which back in this draft is the most explosive?

Well we spoke to both Jones and Henry at the combine.

Did he try to sign Johnson? I don't remember seeing that.

In answer to your question though, It's a toss up between Keith Marshall and Daniel Lasco. Tyler Ervin and Kenyan Drake win special mentions.

Hogan is a much better QB than Tebow but I wonder if that leadership and intelligence will appeal to BB/McDaniels. Particularly if Brady's status is still up in thae air come draft time.

Woah! Kalan Reed, what a play.

Decent chance we draft a. QB anyway and possibly trade JG in 12 months. As a Duck fan (who watched Stanford a good bit), Hogan looks more like a very bad mechanics Luck not Tebow. He has work to do but he's a far better thrower than Tebow to me. Seems like a good mid round shot to me.

Following a twitter conversation, Dane Brugler, Daniel Jeremiah and Chad Reuter are all giving Smith a 3rd-4th round grade. A name to consider.

Incredibly close to Logan Ryan athletically (combine numbers). Ryan is one who could get lost in the wash of the bigger re-signees.

I would think Ryan would be the easiest to resign.

Not sure what will be left once we're done with Collins, Hightower, Butler, Sheard. Patrick Robinson just got almost $5M a year from the Colts, we're probably looking at $5-6M a year for Ryan. I think I'd let someone else do that and replace him (in 2017) with someone much cheaper.

Yes Chris Johnson said he knew he wanted to be back in AZ and that Belichick was trying to court him so Based on the Brown Signing and Johnson courting it shows me we want a Dion Lewis clone or CJ Spiller kind of back.
Any chance of trading for Tevin Coleman or Bernard?

Edit: His pro day numbers are almost identical to Latavius Murray. Murray was taller and 10 pounds heavier though.

This was tweeted within the context of the amount of interest that the Pats have reportedly shown in Keenan Reynolds:

Georgia's Sterling Bailey is an interesting prospect (we met with him at Georgia's pro day (BB and Patricia in attendance).

6'4", 285lbs

4.95 forty at his pro day and a good 7.39 3-cone for that size. More a big LDE or 3-4 DE. Didn't get much pressure at Georgia on the QB but as a late round pick, worth the punt.
