The good news is that without making a move, the Pats have set themselves as a stronger leader in the AFC. Denver and Cincy are taking some decent sized hits the first two days (Denver more than Cincy).

The steelers just added a quality TE to their already stellar offense.

I'd say more than decent in regards to Denver... Jackson, Trevathan both gone, no QB and their starting RB signed to a big offer sheet.

Matthews is a JAG. No way he is worth 5 mill.

2 years ago he caught 12 passes all season while Brandon Gibson and Brian Hartline got the ball.
This year, with no one but suck other than Jarvis Landry to throw to, Tanneyhill complete 363 passes, 43 of them to Matthews.
He would not have helped this team at all.
