I am not a fan of that guy..i question his sources.

I don't think there's any secret here. "Sources" sounds cooler than "scout I met at a bar in Mobile during Senior Bowl week," but that's what a lot of these sources are.

The guy is occasionally insightful but his sources are his mom's cousin's dog walker's best friend's girlfriend who you don't know because she lives in Canada. Even the well-connected longtime beat reporters find it difficult to pry anything out of the organization and then you have Loyko, a guy who runs a random fan site, talking about his "sources."

The Patriots only have 4 receivers under contract. They need a receiver. He was told that by looking at Wikipedia and applying common sense. Per Loyko, they're "in" on every receiver who's available that you've ever heard of. This is ******** punditry at its finest. I'm told every team whose kicker is a free agent is in on a kicker, too. My sources tell me this.

I think Boldin has about 2-3 years left in him. The issue is that he's no longer a threat to go vertical anymore. Not that that was ever really his bread and butter, but he was at least capable before. Now he primarily does all of his work between the numbers.

I'll admit I've had an irrational dislike of Kearse ever since he made that lucky catch in the SuperBowl. Even though the Pats still ended up winning.

After putting that aside and watching more of his highlights, I'm definitely warming up to him.

Got no interest in Sanu at anything much above what we gave LaFell. If we get priced out of Sanu/Matthews I would just hand out a load of cheap one year deals to the bargain basement receivers, draft a couple and see what sticks. Then try to find a longer term option again next year
