Just read that Suh Is redoing his contract to free up Cap Space for Phins.

If I were running the Phins, I'd play a waiting game on Brady. Stockpile young players that need some developmental time, and draft picks in 2017-2019, and just milk the automatic NFL team profit for the next couple of years while being OK with having average teams. Then be ready to pounce on the AFC East when Brady retires.

But they are doing the opposite.

Where we he even fit? McCourty, Chung, and Harmon is a good core at a great price. Although, I fully expect Harmon to get a starting gig next offseason.

Everyone gets bumped down a spot outside of McCourty. I dunno. The more good players you have the better off you are. Again if he comes cheap it seems like just the move BB makes. Plus take some wear and tear off of Dmac.

That's only in case of emergency. If they do sign Weddle it will be because they are in sub packages so much of the time and Belichick has plans to use extra safeties in big nickel type packages.

Only way he comes here is good discount from other teams. And this will be his last contact or big one so i just don't see it. Unless he REALLY wants to win a SB. Car and Pats would be the two. Even Steelers
