OT: Oh No! NFL Commits to Franchise in London by 2022

It's such a dumb idea. The travel alone will be brutal for the team. Telling a young guy he has no choice, but to move across the Atlantic is not fair especially if he has a family. There are plenty of cities in the U.S who would love to have a team... like St. Louis for example.

I continue to be shocked that billionaires who have amassed their fortunes in part because of their sterling business acumen can continue to be so stupid from a business standpoint. But that's fine. They can feel free to oversaturate the populace as they see fit. When this falls on it's face, I'll be the first to laugh.

Horrible decision I never thought they would be stupid enough to try this esp with the time difference. Does the league change its name to IFL?

I will say NFL is getting big in UK, I have a friend there who loves it and always wants to talk football when we do talk.

NFL is officially going down the drains. Horrible horrible idea. You can't say you don't care more about money than the integrity of the game putting a team that far away.

Don't understand why they don't just start up a subsidiary league based in England rather than stick one team in the nfl. You don't need to make it wildly successful overnight. Start with a few team and let it grow naturally.
