I say this as a Gator fan with no love lost for Alabama: it's a damn pleasure to watch their DL. Interesting how Watson and Clemson is trying to attack them. Hurry up while calling stretch plays to try to tire them out. I doubt it will work. Alabama has more bodies to sub in than any other school in the SEC. They're a well oiled machine.

Also in the NFL roster management is a HUGE deal. When you can only dress 45 guys on game day you need to be very careful. It's always underestimated just how critically important it is, and Belichick is by far the best at it.

Saban in college doesn't need to worry about that at all, he has a roster of a hundred players and can just use a billion different combination of players for literally any situation and never have to worry about depth.

Agreed. Saban is bigger than Alabama, hell even bigger than college football all put together. In the NFL, there's no job security and who wants to deal with Goodell???

Yep. Saban could walk into a recruit's house, take a stinky diarrhea in their bathroom, raid their fridge, and walk out without saying anything and making eye contact with them as he leaves and that that four star recruit will probably still choose Alabama.
