I think Manning is done for the year, they are waiting just in case.

There are reports he suffered a setback in his recovery and he barely returned to practice, that injury is a tough one, especially in an old body that played in the NFL for 15 years. Also, Drew Brees suffered the same injury against the Lions.

TBH, I have to disagree, at least right now... Manning had one good game against GB, other than that he's been about as awful as you can be in this league. BO is the better option at the moment IMO.

Repeat: why do we need the bungles to beat Denver?

If the Patriots lose both remaining games they are in jeopardy of losing HFA regardless of the outcome of the Cin v Den game. Which means, ultimately, the outcome of this game is largely irrelevant.

As a personal pref I'd like to see Den go down. I'd like to see them miss the playoffs altogether and see Elway out grazing in a field somewhere come January. But that is just a pref and no where near "need"-ing that to happen.

Maybe not, but it is simply somewhere in general that I do not want to go to. Bad things seem to always happen when we go there.
