While this is all true, the special teams has largely been among the best in football all season. The fumbled punt last week was an aberration, and today was just a ****show of awful results--pick 6, two special teams TD's.
The Pats SHOULD have won the game, as the better team, but they didn't execute and made critical, game-changing mistakes. BB coached teams generally don't do that, but it happens. It sucks, but it happens.
Can't do much about the bad hands though, they lost their best receiving options when Lewis then Edelman then Gronk went down. When you go to those 4th and 5th options more, as the #2/#3 options all of a sudden, it's just not gonna be the same.
The silver lining: no injuries! Get this team healthy, fingers crossed that Edelman gets back in time and I don't care if they're a 1 seed or a 6 seed, this team is too good when healthy and those dumb-**** special teams plays just don't happen much for BB-coached teams.
