NFL Week 8 Games

The entire NFC is looking kinda fraudulent this season. They just appear better cause they are beating up on other trash NFC teams.

A lot to digest from this game. I tried picturing the Pats offense playing against this defense. I could see it being very different because it presents an entirely different array of problems. I was very disappointed in the Packer offense. Even I could tell early on that their game plan was playing right into the Broncos hands. Hard to believer that the Packers had 2 weeks to prepare for this game.

If there is one good thing to come from this game, its that the mediots will all jump from the Pats band wagon right to Denver's. I hate it when they false faun over us. If we can remain relatively healthy and get back some of our OL depth, we will be OK. Except remember the offense will not be as efficient in Denver. For example all the moving back and forth of receivers by Brady that we saw so clearly over the last 2 games, will be much more difficult for him to do in Denver.

BTW- Unless something drastically changes, it is likely that between the Pats, Denver, and Cincinnati, a team with a 13-3 or better could wind up playing on wildcard week and have to win 4 games to be champs
.
BTW- went to check my emails on comcast and it opens up to a yahoo page, including sports. The second story listed in the Sports section was "Bellichick silent about Locker room scandal" .....and the attacks continue.....it is ALL about the innuendo now, and the NFL and their proxies are good at it.

I, for one, am feeling pretty good about our chances at a 5th Superbowl after today. Who the heck is going to beat us this year?

Denver or NYG maybe Jets at their home.

Our main concerns are Broncos and Bengals....

I am more concerned about the Broncos their defense is legit, pretty much top 5 in every category this season.

I understand the confidence but I like to keep it real:

Denver, Cincinnati, Arizona, and a division opponent that makes the playoffs

The last few GB series were telling. A couple of replays revealed they are now in coverage this is not glued to the receivers. Rogers still couldn't really get the ball to anyone. Apparently Denver's gameplan and coverage spooked Rogers so bad he can't make reads and good throws even with less glued coverage.

lol rodgers doesn't even have 100 yards passing.

this guy is a stat padding front runner. no clutch gene to quote our friend skip bayless.
...

very impressed by denver.

Manning has no TD's tonight just the 1 INT. All 3 TD's have been rushing. I would think the Pats will take the run away and force Noodle's McGee to win it with his limp arm.

We won't give him the middle either.

  1. Broncos defense matches up very well against Packers offense, especially with Nelson gone
  2. Broncos offense faced a Packers defense that lost two CBs early in the game, and was getting little pressure up the middle

I would only fear Denver at this point. I need to see a little more from the others. Arizona doesn't scare me too much.

Good game Aaron.

Anyone else watching the World Series game 5? The Mets are a joke...
