Is there anyone else who can fill Solder's spot? I feel like Cannon looks like a guard and seems to struggle at Tackle.

Cannon has been much better at tackle than guard.

Every team must cope with injuries sooner or later. Solder is good, but honestly could've been a worse.

I don't agree. Leave Vollmer at RT...Hes an All-Pro caliber player there.

With that said, Cannon played RT pretty well when when Vollmer broke his leg in 2013.

@NEPD_Loyko: Cannon is about to earn his money. Played very well in 2013 when force to play full time when Vollmer went down.

Cannon's proven in the past to be a starting caliber RT. Unknown at LT.

Vollmer is an All-Pro caliber RT. If he could play that way at LT, the OL may be "upgraded" in a bizarre way.

Then again, Cannon should get a chance to prove he can play LT or not.

I assume Vollmer moves to LT and Cannon slides in as RT. Flemming becomes the swing tackle, but I wonder if they will try and trade for someone better.

We can't trade for someone every time a player gets hurt, we'd run out of picks faster than Goodell can confiscate them.

Andrews, AFAWK, only played center at Georgia, and I think in HS too.

What game are you watching? Cannon was a disaster at guard last year, that is why the coaches moved him back to tackle.

Mankins was the backup LT then, although I believe that was when Cannon was already filling in for Vollmer at RT. There isn't really much of a precedent for Cannon and Vollmer being the two starting tackles, except during this OL rotation they've been doing.
