They're certainly in the discussion, I don't think that's an outrageous statement. To get to 5-0 with Manning sucking at QB has basically been a combination of really good defense and awful opponents.
For short yardage, I'll take Lewis over Blount any day. Blount hits the hole too slow. The payoff is that if he does eventually hit it with a head of steam he's basically guaranteed to get a good chunk of yardage, but that doesn't matter so much on 3rd/4th and 1.
More piss poor 4th down play calling. Shades of Buffalo there. The sneak is nearly unstoppable no matter how many guys the D has on the LOS and the OL hasn't shown the ability to run block or pass protect today.
