you listen to every radio shows and it's been nothing but a praise this season. deflategate was a perfect vehicle to bring out the hate, but when these people see the greatness they acknowledge the greatness.

you are a blind if you think media is out to get brady and hate him for no reason. that's just not the case. brady gets ball washed every day and i love it. cowherd is nonstop brady washer. skip, nonstop brady washer. and practically every damn decent radio guys can't stop saying how great we are.


and yes, there are trolls out there. media trolls. but they say stupid things to get ratings. more often than not we are a great team with a great QB.

Rodgers isn't anywhere near being the greatest of all-time. People who make that claim should be called out everytime.

Although, people throw out the term "GOAT" very liberally nowadays. I don't think most of them would actually put Rodgers ahead of Brady on the all time list.

because he is great. what's wrong with that? he is worthy of in a GOAT discussion IMO. dude is 31 an he has 4-5 years of serious stat padding. just look at his stat. and he just threw 5tds against fairly decent team. he's been the mvp and he is playing like mvp. of course they will pimp him.

there are already enough folks who claim 'rodgers is the best i've seen'. 'difference between brady and rodgers is the feet'. these are same people who claimed manning is the greatest back in 2004 when he was destroying the league in the regular season.

some folks will always prefer the style over substance. same folks who prefer elway over montana. hell some folks prefer marino over montana. some thinks rings are strictly a team accomplishment. stylistically brady will not win against rodgers to many folks. rodgers can buy the time with his feet and rodgers have a stronger arm right now.


i get that we feel threatened because we claim brady is the GOAT(which he is), but there are growing numbers of rodgers fans and claiming he will be the GOAT. i think we as brady and pats fan stop worrying about how others feel about rodgers. just worry about the team and hope for the ring #5.
IMO, this insecurity is what destroyed the colts fan base. so damn insecure.

So what's up with Green Bay always getting free plays? Will the refs ever blow the play dead? A lot of them should have been a neutral zone infraction. Also, their receivers block before the ball is caught but never get called for OPI. Isn't that illegal? I saw the Falcons get called for it like four times in one game.

If GOAT means accomplishments by a QB, then there is no question that Brady is it. Only Montana and Bradshaw have equalled him in SB wins.

Why would anybody say Rodgers is the GOAT? It would be because of his skills. That's a totally different thing. I don't know if he is or not, but he sure ranks way high on the list in that regard. But he doesn't have multiple SB victories. If he does win a 2nd and 3rd SB, well then I'd be willing to hear talk about him being among the GOAT.

The potential for Rodgers to win those SBs based on his QB skills and savvy is certainly there, but that's potential. And it all depends on him staying healthy and continuing to have talent around him in the coming years.

Exactly. The only thing I'd say about Rodgers' average playoff record is that in 2014 and 2013 he was dealing with injuries. 2014 especially. A healthy Rodgers and the Packers would have beaten Seattle in the NFC title game last year, I'd bet the house on that.

Rodgers is what the media has so badly wanted Manning to be for all of these years. Even if he doesn't win another Super Bowl, you can't deny Rodgers pure talent is probably the greatest ever. If THAT was the type of guy Brady had bettered all these years (or rather, the team had bettered all of these years) then I can understand how one might still say Rodgers was the best despite playoff/SB shortcomings. Rodgers is way better than Manning in their primes. This is why Manning is overhyped and his skill set should not possibly overcome all of his failures when he is judged on his overall body of work.

And quick breakdown of why Rodgers is far superior to Manning.

A. Rodgers doesn't require at least three all-pros at skill positions each season. He will excel with decent guys out there. Manning does not. If he doesn't have major physical mismatches, especially at outside WR, he starts looking mighty average.
B. Rodgers doesn't throw even close to as many interceptions, even though Manning is "the smartest QB ever." How is Manning considered to be the smartest when his interception percentage is nothing to brag about? It's not like he takes risks that others don't; he just makes a lot of mental mistakes.

other fan base were tired of us for the longest time because of 'media ball washing'. they envy and hate us because we have the pretty boy who can flat out play and beat their team every sunday. not only that we also have mad scientist BB who outsmarts their teams coach every week. they were tired of us. no wonder why they hate us. historically a great team always get hated. hate generate ratings. drama is good. controversy is even better.

Did you listen to Kevin Harlon the last two weeks? He couldn't have been more surgically attached to Brady's jock.

The only exceptions were both in garbage time, one was "Wow, Buffalo isn't going to completely quit after all" and the other was "Why is he still in the game, someone might breathe near him?"

that's precisely my point. brady has everything - stats, rings, and mvps. but rodgers have the skills style points. rodgers have better deep balls than brady right now. and he can run. so he can do more than brady.

remember brady was drafted in the 6th round. brady's greatness doesn't show up in the stat sheet more often than not. his will to win, the fire, leadership, presnap ability, etc, etc.

there are still enough people who thinks peyton is better than brady. yes, really. they believe peyton is the better 'thrower' of the football. also peyton 'calls his own plays'.

these people don't care about the ring counts. 'marino threw the prettiest ball. dat quick release yo! if marino played in today's soft D era, he would throw for 60tds every year!'

i'm hoping brady finishes his career with 6 rings. IMO GB is a great organization and rodgers is a great QB for another 5-6 years. and IMO rodgers will win more rings. nobody would be surprised if rodgers retire with 3 rings. so when rodgers fans or media claim rodgers is the GOAT then we can always say 6 rings > 3 rings. because we are pats fans and we only care about the game that happens in Feb.

I have sat through 2-14 seasons in the rain and snow and sleet and wind....22 years as a season ticket holder . I go to every game at home possible. I have seen bad Patriot players, good Patriot players and great Patriot players. Why do you care what other people think about the Patriots fanbase?

Who the **** cares, seriously? You're this way, other fans on here are completely the other way, complaining about any media person who says anything remotely negative about the Patriots.

People are going to say **** to get people to click on articles. They know when "Rodgers is the Best" is up, they know that half of New England will be in their comment section.

I don't think Rodgers is the GOAT, but it's fun to watch him, even though he's got a serious front-runner problem. And even then, he's got a little choke in him as well - so we get to read/see about how Rodgers is the best, even though he blew it again this year. Sort of like Manning. I mean, remember, it took a good 12-13 years for people to realize how big a choker he actually is, and I imagine it will be about the same for Rodgers too.

For now, he gets to get the GOAT pub scot-free. Factual or not.

But here are facts: People not from New England hate us. The media hates us, because Bill Belichick doesn't kiss their ass like other coaches, and the same is true for Tom Brady. Yet they continue to win, and the media freaks out, because they don't know anything about football.
