Meh. They're good. The LBs can be run on, and I have no idea why teams don't just double move Talib to death. He bites on playaction and jumps routes all the time. That's what he does.

Did you happen to see the stats tonight for their 2 starting outside corners? They were from the beginning of 2014--through today, so about the last 20 games.

Put it this way--Talib is actually the weaker link between the two. Harris hasn't given up a TD since 2013, and had an opposing QBR of something in the high 40's.

They're pretty good against the pass. Leading all categories (by far) through the first three games this year as well. I'm not saying that I'm worried about them, but I don't know that MIN on the road is going to suddenly pull the upset either. We'll have to see. So far the Broncos defense has been fairly impressive.

Interest thread there where their talking about the Pats Jags game. Some pretty complimentary stuff toward Bill and the Pats.

Hypocrisy brings about the finest in butthurt Hatriots. While conveniently ignoring the fires in their own backyard, they sneeringly focus on the smoldering cigarette butts in ours.

1. Patriots win.
2. Jets lose.
3. Ravens lose.
4. Either the Bills or Dolphins will lose.
5. Revis can't finish the game.
6. The Steelers will now be QBd by Michael Vick.
7. Mallett wins a game.

The way things are going today the Bears will somehow beat Seattle and the Lions will defeat the Denver Mannings.

We couldn't have everything. But what we had yesterday was exceptionally special.

But in fairness to him, the Pats have written the book on how to beat Wade Phillips, but for some reason, no one in the NFL chooses to read it.

I heard somewhere it uses big words and just "doesn't have the accepting tone we're trying to establish in this league" (according to unnamed sources).

Steelers are done without Big Bend. Put a fork in them. Vick is a train wreck.

Cinci has beat the Ratbirds 4 consecutive times. How bad are the Ratbirds? Dalton threw an INT in the endzone saving Bmore from a blowout. The majority of the Ratbird points were scored in the 4th quarter making the game look closer than it was.

The Phins suck and Philbin looks clueless. They were picked to win the Super Bowl??

So much for the Jets awesome defense and Fitzy playing great. Geno should be in by midseason.

Just realized why Vick wanted to go to the Steelers. If he starts another dog fighting ring Pittsburgh cops are great at getting Steelers out of trouble http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...ty-chief-dual-role-sheriff-officer-questioned

Philly should have won by more. Repeatedly when the Eagles went with an empty backfield, the Jets were confused.( I have a feeling we'll see that in the future when the PAts play NYJ. The Jets didn't adjust and it happened throughout the game.) Only a drop by Matthews and Aghoular with open fields ahead prevented more scores...That and Bradford doing an excellent job throwing at his receivers' shoes.....
Color me unimpressed by either team....

Both teams have **** at QB.

The Jets won at which QB can suck the worst like always.

I don't know why Chip Kelly thought Bradford would be an upgrade over Foles, who knew his offense and ran it well.....

Foles 15-9 record......46 TD/ 17 int....94.2 rating.....240 ypg
Bradford 18-30 record.....62 td/42 int.....78.9 rating.....225 ypg

and the Eagles gave up a 2nd rounder to boot....

Indy is bigger mess than detriot. They wont beat denver. Not sure about cincy on the road as well. We shall see. Teams dont look the same as the first 3 weeks. Today manning was not the same 5 time sacked manning of the last 2 games.

Indy will beat Denver. They always play them well and they will be playing at home.

If Denver has Indy's schedule they are 1-2 right now and they likely get shut out by either the Bills or the Jets.

Denver is trash.

I know u hate forehead manning but i feel they will be the main competition for
the pats.

They won't be. The matchup is absolutely terrible for them. Their CBs struggle with quick shifty WRs like Edelman and Amendola, they have never had an answer for Gronk, they used to have trouble with Vereen (Lewis has been better than him so far,) and Brady always shreds Phillips' defenses.

Meanwhile, their offense will be lucky to get to 17-20 points.

What good offenses have they had these stats against?

This is why regular season stats do t matter in a championship context. You can be the "#1 defense in the league" against scrubs that won't be in the playoffs, then you get embarrassed against a team that knows what it's doing.

And Minnesota on the road is suddenly considered a good offense, because that's what we're discussing?

The body of work over the last 20 games or so can be looked up, but obviously includes such teams as Indy x2, New England, Seattle, Arizona, San Diego x 2, Cincinnati. Those are all quality teams who can beat you in a variety of ways. I agree with your thought that the offenses they've faced haven't been world beaters, though.

If they played the elementary school pee wee team those stats are still worth noting when someone tries to tell you that their secondary isn't that good.

I agree about Minnesota. They will likely beat the Vikings.

Their secondary is not a good match up for them vs our receivers. That's all that matters to me.

Let's see how KC humiliates themselves tonight. I think GB will have most of that covered, but the Chiefs will undoubtedly find a way to contribute to their own humiliation.

nfl network just put up a graphic that had Rodgers at 7-5 in the playoffs. He's really 6-5. Coming in for the last drive to hand off doesn't give you a win.

Rodgers is 4-6 in MNF games.
