Trying to force our hand at more guaranteed money?
Or wasn't a fit once we kicked the tires on him?
Because Pryor has all the leverage in contract discussions? He would be an idiot to leave an offer on the table to visit elsewhere just in hopes of BB paying him more.

My guess is BB took a look and doesn't see the value now. Maybe later or the off-season. But more likely he's just passing.

He is looking for work, not accepting bids. He will get the minimum and be happy to have it.

Maybe he was looking for a scout QB this week - and was hoping he had other skills worthwhile to justify putting him on the team?

Lots of athleticism, but a newcomer project QB-turned-WR, that didn't spend time with the team during TC, seems a bit ridiculous to waste a roster spot on.

Bill probably took a look, saw what he wanted to see, or didn't, and moved on. Worth a shot to look anyway.

Classic Belichick to take someone else's trash and make him a star, a la Danny Woodhead, Akeem Ayers, Rob Ninkovich, Mike Vrabel...anyone else remember that Rodney Harrison had "clearly lost a step" when he came over in 2003? Belichick "created" football careers for BenJarvis Green Ellis and Matt Cassell and Malcom Butler and Stephen Neal, where none existed. Wes Welker was a scrub until he came to Foxboro, and he left as a star.

If he sees anything in Pryor, he will absolutely invest the time to make him into a weapon, if only to remind Cleveland how ****ty they are at coaching and building a team.

But, as others have mentioned, the timing is pretty bad. Signing him now would probably cost Dobson, Cadet or White a job... and it would be hard to imagine any of those swaps would improve the team.

Maybe a Futures contract for 2016, and give him his shot in TC.

Was reported first as a 24 and later as a 29. From that draft class, it's not surprising that Cameron Fleming's 33 sticks out.

Yep. They don't need rocket scientists back there. Just guys that can lead, make all the throws, read defenses, think quick and not screw up.

If he happens to win multiple Super Bowls and marry a supermodel along the way so be it.

Can't imagine he comes in now. This needed to happen before TC.

Typical Jets... "Oh the Pats looked at a player??? We better sign him ASAP!!! Ha ha gotcha Bill!!!!"
