I think that Brown would be an upgrade over Bolden or White. Brown could ALSO be the reason that Harper was released and no one was signed immediately. Pats could be bringing him in for a workout..

No,no,no. I watched him in Philly and he was a fumble machine with 5 fumbles in <250 touches, a ratio that is a non-starter in Foxboro. I don't like the way he carried the ball then and his ball security has not improved since..even though the fumbles have diminished...

Remind me about Kevin Faulk's Fumbling issues..

BTW, Brown only had 4 Fumbles in Philly. 4 came during his rookie season. The 5th came last year.
He has 5 fumbles on 226 carries and 37 receptions.

For Reference:
Kevin Faulk his 1st 3 years:
272 carries , 93 receptions, 11 Fumbles.

Yeah, as I said in another thread, bills fans are convinced that's what's happening. It struck me funny for some reason.

At the very least, he would be an upgrade over Crapdet, whose presence on the roster continues to mystify.

Hes fumbled once in his last 111 carries. Thats reasonable.

I've been an unabashed supporter of Cadet and what he potentially brings to the team since Day 1. I may even need to seek help for it. He can so so many things in this offense.

However, he is a promise that has yet to deliver.

BB and JMD are being patient. I'm sure they have a threshold on when to fish or cut bait with the lad.

I really had no strong feeling about Cadet until now, if Captain Stone thinks he sucks then he must be good.

Hasn't the position been forwarded that Brown is rather simple when it comes to grasping the playbook and prefers to skylark? That doesn't strike me as a Belichick type of guy.

Poor, Captain....

I noticed him in TC and he looked pretty damn good to me. He was catching everything. Hes so intriguing b/c he looks like a larger than average WR lining up as a RB. Kinda like a Bernie Parmalee-type if you recall him at all.

Plus @pherein gave him high marks so he corroborated with what I saw.

Jsut gotta see him in a game to know for sure.

I think the Patriots view Cadet as a slot WR more than they do a RB.

does bryce brown play special teams?

Running back isn't really a need, i really don't see the pats wasting cap space by signing another one.

No problem! We deflate our balls over here in Foxborough.

They must have a ton of faith that Shady's not going to miss games.

He's had a couple of full seasons in a row, but that dude gets dinged up, they're screwed.

Rookie, Karlos Williams looks like he's a stud, thats why Brown was expendable. Plus we got the Boobie.

I've seen Boobie Dixon as a feature back. It ain't pretty.

Bryce Brown's not going to make or break anyone, but I'd cross my fingers that McCoy is healthy all year.

Agreed, but I do think Karlos could be a feature back.
