I watched him in Philly and he was a fumble machine with 5 fumbles in <250 touches, a ratio that is a non-starter in Foxboro. I don't like the way he carried the ball then and his ball security has not improved since..even though the fumbles have diminished...
At the very least, he would be an upgrade over Crapdet, whose presence on the roster continues to mystify.I think that Brown would be an upgrade over Bolden or White. Brown could ALSO be the reason that Harper was released and no one was signed immediately. Pats could be bringing him in for a workout..
Hes fumbled once in his last 111 carries. Thats reasonable.No,no,no. I watched him in Philly and he was a fumble machine with 5 fumbles in <250 touches, a ratio that is a non-starter in Foxboro. I've been an unabashed supporter of Cadet and what he potentially brings to the team since Day 1. I may even need to seek help for it. He can so so many things in this offense.
However, he is a promise that has yet to deliver.
BB and JMD are being patient. I'm sure they have a threshold on when to fish or cut bait with the lad.
I really had no strong feeling about Cadet until now, if Captain Stone thinks he sucks then he must be good.
I think the Patriots view Cadet as a slot WR more than they do a RB.At the very least, he would be an upgrade over Crapdet, whose presence on the roster continues to mystify.
Nope, this is one of the big reasons he's out in Buff.does bryce brown play special teams?
We already have 2 of them.I think the Patriots view Cadet as a slot WR more than they do a RB.

Rookie, Karlos Williams looks like he's a stud, thats why Brown was expendable. Plus we got the Boobie. They must have a ton of faith that Shady's not going to miss games.
He's had a couple of full seasons in a row, but that dude gets dinged up, they're screwed.

Agreed, but I do think Karlos could be a feature back.I've seen Boobie Dixon as a feature back. It ain't pretty.
Bryce Brown's not going to make or break anyone, but I'd cross my fingers that McCoy is healthy all year.
