Some comments on the Colts - Bills
1. Bills
a. Rex is still being Rex - He still knows where the camera is, always making sure he's part of the story. He also still making game management errors. It's all about the details that has been Rex's problem. Its good to know that nothing changed from his Jets days.
b. This is the same defense he ran in NJ. Very aggressive. Always looking like a blitz is coming. It looks like it's bothering the Colts, but Brady and Josh have seen it twice a year for 5 years and I expect them to be ready for it.
c. That being said, the Bills defense is talented.
d. TTaylor looks very solid but he's been given a very easy offense to run, and it IS going against a soft Colt D. If I were a Bills fan I'd be very happy so far.
. e If I were the Pats I'd use the same concepts they used against Seattle On offense. Use crossing not vertical routes - Change the tempo - If you are running run wide. On defense, keep the QB in the pocket, Concentrate on not letting their RB's beats you.
2. Colts
a Same old same old.
b. Luck alternating between brilliance and disaster. Could have easily had 3 picks. the weather is bothering him and he looks like he's trying to emulate Tom's quick throw offense, but is about a half second late and his receivers aren't running Josh's routes.
c. The Colts can be trapped if the Pats want to use that.
3. Overall. Rex's defenses are much tougher at home than on the road, so this WILL be a tough game as they usually are regardless of who the coach is. However if the Pats make improvements on both offense and defense, the Bills are going to give us chances to win this game. If they win this one, it will be a huge win. If they lose, I won't be panicking.
