(Nothing New, but) Revis Has No Moral Compass

Revis is all about Revis. Can't fault him for looking out for number one, but boy do I hope we beat him into the turf this season.

He'd be saying the opposite if his cousin beat DeMaurice Smith in the NFLPA director election.

Revis is a bigger phoney than Drake.

Love how Revis refers to Goodell as "Roger" (6:03). Nice that he's on a first name basis with the Commissioner now that he's back with the Jets.

Roger probably waived the 25k slap on the wrist the Jets got for tampering with Revis.

A better way to phrase this might be: Even if it means keeping your trap shut, "Rev," show a little respect to those who helped you get the one and only championship of your career.
Respect, but he helped us as much as we helped him.

Had he said "I don't know much about the case, therefore I have no opinion" then fine.

But he decided to say "Brady should accept the punishment". He therefore becomes an active commentator on it with that.
I have no problem with that viewpoint. Still, it just does not bother me. Our beef is not with him, I feel. He has zero impact on what happens to Brady or the Patriots. I don't know. I just find it hard to be upset about something that is inconsequential at the end of the day.

Good job Revis, take the side of the league against your union in a labor dispute.
On top of that one where the only crime is not giving the subpoena power voluntarily to the league after it was about the only concession you got in the last CBA.

Here's a summary of the interview if you don't want to watch it:

Uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh uh uhhh uh uhhhh uh uh

Brady should listen to him. After all, Revis is "more smarter" this year than he has ever been.

Respect, but he helped us as much as we helped him.
That's arguable. He helped, yes, but he was not the dominant player in New England that he was previously with the Green Beans. He was a quality one-season rent-a-player here -- nothing more, nothing less.

So I counted the amount of "uhhh's" and "uhmmm's" from Revis during the interview...

134

I'm not exaggerating. This guy is an idiot.

Revis playing for the Jets is a 16 game punishment.

Thats not a punishment....thats a sentence.

But he is pulling in $70m or whatever for it.

This is truly the owner of Revis not Woody Johnson.
Good riddance Revis is on the downside of his career we aren't paying for past production.
