Brady's response through Don Yee

So be it. For the rest of the league to stand by and watch this unfold without having any decency to say stop, this is ridiculous makes me not care. It's not the TB is a a-hole. Their silence makes it worse.

My thinking was they wouldn't support them until it could potentially hurt their bottom line.

Lighten up Francis.

I am having fun...take it easy

A highlight to me in the Yee interview on CNN was Lee's statement that the reason why Tom didn't make available his text message records is that they didn't want to set a precedent that would open up the floodgates so that the league could ask for (though they can't subpena) other NFL players text messages in the future. Yee intimates that the NFLPA would be up in arms over such a precedent.

In the event that the league hands down a penalty to Brady and, presuming their is nothing incriminating in those text messages, I think that I think Yee should intimate (in such public fashion) that they might make available said text's ...... and see just how quickly the NFLPA and Brady's fellow players react.

The NFLPA seems to be the only ones with their **** together. Goodell and co look terrible in comparison.

If you were thrown into the national spotlight and accused of embezzlement/insider trading, would you not be immediately calling your stock broker to talk?

These asshats treat this action as though it's a clear sign of guilt... If you DIDNT talk to your stock broker at all, that would look quite a bit more suspicious, would it not???
No, it is pretty well accepted that if you are under investigation you do not talk to others under investigation or potential witnesses. That will always be framed the way it was here; people trying to get their stories straight.

So in other threads some lawyer types have commented a lot on the feasibility of a defamation case. I agree that wont happen, but I do think Yee is setting up for arbitration where he will take all the stiff he has to the arbitrator and the NFL is going to get kicked in the nuts again. Im neither a fan of the NFL head office nor the NFLPA but Im betting on the NFLPA right now, and Brady is a significant supporter of the NFLPA.

Im sure guys like Brees, Manning(s), Rogers are all crapping right now because new rules are coming and to believe these guys dont all alter the ball is naive at best.

I have my popcorn ready.

Sorry I was trying to have some fun but also admittedly take a few digs...sorry about that.

I do hate the "dislike", On other forums I help run we made it so you have to comment to use it.

Yee making the media rounds today, Mike and Mike, Dan Patrick, anybody have any notes on what he said today?

I see on the news ticker above that Yee used the phrase "malice intended" toward Tom Brady. Dude. Them's fightin' words. Yee is a highly respected attorney and those are not words used lightly.

eta: OK, that came from an NPR transcript where Yee says he thinks there was "some malice intended" toward Tom Brady and the organization. Then he says "I don't know if it was intentional." That's….really getting down into parsing words.

No worries. Personally, it doesn't bother me if people dislike and don't reply. It's my adverse reaction to Facebook and all the likes people will give for the dumbest sh!t. I wish FB had a dislike button.

He is actually asked the question if there was malice intended and he said yes. Its not without a Q&A.

This is a doozie here.

http://nesn.com/2015/05/agent-don-yee-malice-intended-toward-tom-brady-in-wells-report/

"YEE: I don’t accept that. I don’t even accept that because it’s very clear, the report actually lays out the absence of any league protocols on how to handle footballs. There are no protocols. For example, every referee can buy any gauge to use in measuring the footballs. Number two — no measurements are even written down or recorded. In fact, the Wells investigators simply had to rely on referee Walt Anderson’s memory."

"YEE: I do think there was some malice intended toward Tom and the organization. I don’t know if the malice was intentional. They’ve been winning for a long time, as we know, and I’ve always told my friends who’ve inquired about the NFL — I tell them, there is no jealousy or envy like NFL jealousy or envy."

yeh I think Yee is going to war. Again get the popcorn ready. just know that the haters will never see through their shaded glasses.

Hopefully and maybe behind closed doors the NFLPA is plotting their next move, but wouldn't they be against the precedence of passing judgement on Brady based on circumstantial and presumed evidence. No court of law would even try this case based on the preponderance of evidence that Wells has gathered.

But there was no investigation or threat of investigation when Tom talked to the equipment guy

Yee serving up everybody.
