Brandon Marshall to the Jets

Yeah, it's a rather un-Jets-likes move Deus. I do wonder if they'll let free agency play out a little more before making a trade for Jay Cutler.

Reading all the Jets fans weepy posts about Cutlerceptions as Jay enters his declining years, when it would be coming on the heels of the Sanchez/Smith duo, would be almost too much fun for Patriots fans. The gov't might have to make it illegal.

If Cutler is still on the roster next week, $10M of his 2016 salary becomes guaranteed. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him get cut based on that, and if so the Jets would presumably have the inside track since they have Marshall.

On one hand, this would make the Jets better. OTOH, the inevitable clash between the NY media and Cutler would be an amazing spectacle.

Jets are definately better with this move, but why do in my heart of hearts feel that someway, somehow the Jets will manage to **** this relationship up? Oh wait, it's because it's the J-E-T-S suck suck suck! Awaiting the Patriots to make a FA splash in 3...2...

There are probably limits to the stupidity of the jets, under its new management team.

The jets don't want Cutler's contract. What they might want is to consider signing Cutler if he is free agent in a couple of days.
