Right again Mr. BW.......the only people *****ing about this trade are a couple on this board who think they know more then
Belichick and SP.
Cousins I think we make one more move today. I think we move back up to two or high three again.
I feel Bradley might be their guy if Harris is gone, which he should be.Bradley should be available.
Now Does this open the door for ILB Ed Hartwell?
This might make sense.
If we all recall, this 2007 draft was junk. Anyone drafted over 19 was probably a second or third rounder or worse all the way to 99 in this draft.
A third would have been nice but we had to have the dancing partner. The partner said no to a three, that's all. We got what we got and if the Niners finish 23rd with a superb season, that still equates to about a #20 for a #28. I don't think they will do as high as 23rd next year. Belichick just offered on the NFL show that the SF deal was the best offer for #28 if they did not take the pick themselves.
If we had taken Harris at #28 it was fifteen to twenty spots too high. I do not know if we get him yet. Our competition from the Jets and Carolina didn't move for him though either.
I think the Pats go vet help with ILB Hartwell, RB Chris Brown and R.Moss with the lower fourth(why not?). I think with #110 to package that with #91 and move up.
Lets face it cousins, we knew the Pats were gonna dump either the #24 or #28. I was hoping for Cleveland and a second or third so they could get Quinn, but with this draft, I think BB/SP knew what they were doing. Lets step back at look at this. Focus on this being a weak draft.
Merriweather was a need cousins, not BPA, so that myth is exposed. Now the 2008 draft is another thing. That trade was for BDA "Best Draft Available".
Now with one less first rounder, now second rounder, perhaps the CAP is easier to work with Assante?
Miguel would this be true?
