I just think as Pats fans it can't get any better than this. The Fins just passed on a potential franchise QB that practically fell in their lap and used their 9th pick in order to contend with the fact that we took their versatile return/receiver guy.
So they used a 9th pick and passed on a great QB to fill the hole we created by giving up a late 2d and 7th.
Now, does Ginn have tools the Welker doesn't? Sure. He's a deep threat. Will he be better than Welker in the long run? Let's say maybe or even probably. But not necessarily. Plus, they'll pay him more.
Let's calm down for one second guys...
Ginn is a very good, versatile player. He'll do well in Miami.
