League is going to come down on somebody just for their PR image. They pulled the same crap with videotaping stuff when the reacted in haste.

there's a huge difference between hanging this on BB vs Brady. They can't suspend Brady for it.....and I still go back to the refs not noticing......they are the regulators of the game.....they did not notice anything......and this is something quite obvious

Meh, when the time comes, Brady will stand up and say 'I had this done.....coach doesn't throw the ball, I do. I'm no different than any of the other QB's who have their equiment mgrs alter the balls prior to the game.

I don't know.........if the refs didn't notice it the entire game, what are we really talking about here?
We're talking about something that's being reported in every news media outlet across the globe, and not in a positive light.

I can't believe im going to say this, but if BB had a hand in this, then it's time Kraft moves on from him and forces him to resign.

This is getting so un****ingbelievably old that this teams reputation is constantly getting destroyed with every accomplishment that they achieve.

This was a huge high winning over Baltimore and then crushing Indy to to another Super Bowl with a team that could redeem themselves and get another Ring after all the Spygate BS that we STILL deal with today, 8 years later..

instead what we get immediately after the AFCCG is more headlines about how we're cheaters, how we should have to forfeit the game against the Colts who we absolutely annihilated and now everyone in the country is piling on and bathing in this total smear campaign.

If he was complicit in this, then BB needs to go. He's done irreparable damage to this franchise with his complete arrogance at every turn and is a cloud that will hang over this team and it's fan base for generations.

What other team in the history of the league has had such negative publicity? No other dynasty has to deal with people using cheaters in the same sentence as them every time they're brought up. . Just the Patriots, and by extension their fans.

This is ********... now even if they win the SB, we won't be able to enjoy it because we'll have to defend them at every turn.. AGAIN!

It's unbelievable how ****ing arrogant this team is in the face of the rules and the media and I'm getting sick of it because it removes the joy of the victories as a fan

Well I agree with the refs not noticing until half time when they weighed all the balls again. Goes back to curran's theory that they didnt weigh in the first place .But the yahoo article above mentions it happens all the time at least in college football
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/not-f...nager-everyone-cheats-deflates-184104713.html

Maybe it goes on forever on all teams.

I seriously doubt BB is worred about inflated balls before a AFCCG . He has more pressing things. If someone did it , must be equipment manager along with the QBs. But the fall comes on BB because he runs the team and is ultimately responsible for everyone on the team. This I guess is one of the practices which maybe has gone on for ages on all teams and was not a big deal until someone started to enforce it . Like the illegal contact penalty.

I don't think it does.......it is the job of the QB to work with the equipment guy to deal with the balls.....

it's hilarious that people are nitpicking such a gaping hole in the process...........the situation begs for this kind of thing........why not just have one big box of balls, inspected by the refs and then controlled by the ref team that noone else can touch? that's right, Peyton Manning didn't like it that way

At the end of the day, that's the problem. The NFLs rules have become such a monstrosity that no-one knows what a catch is; along the monstrosity lines, they don't need their own balls. This type of thing wouldn't be an issue if the NFL provided 25 balls per game and used them. They've created this monstrosity now they have to live with it.

Now Patriot fans have to live with it. Even if they win the SB, we won't be able to enjoy it because of this, just like last time and it's total BS

Why is 11 of 12 damning?

If physics (temperature change, physical stress on the football) caused the football to drop to 11 psi, then it would make sense that they would all drop; it wouldn't make sense that only a couple would drop, but the others would stay higher.

lol come on man. The physics temperatures? It wasn't even THAT cold out when the game was played, plenty of games have been played in colder weather.

Is the NFL saying that 11-12 balls were deflated by the same amount? Because of so that sounds more like a natural cause than a high school kids with a needle in a hallway defaulting them. Either way the Patriots need to fight this and force the NFL to prove wrongdoing, allowing just the suggestion of it to fly this time v will do permanent damage. If go a **** about their team then they will go down swinging this time instead of going face up ass down.

What you can't handle either truth or or a difference of opinion?

Wrong on both counts, I don't like gross overreactions and that's your forte. First you declare them dead and scream about how the Broncos are the greatest team ever, and now you want Belichick fired. I was ready to let your earlier tantrum go but now that's not going to happen.

I can promise you that if they win two Sundays from now, I will be enjoying the hell out of it.

I'm a pretty reserved fan but if anyone starts in on the deception/deflategate crap I'm keep my response very simple...

"We won the Super Bowl and your team didn't".

Disgusted. Make them play the SB with over inflated footballs.

I'm disappointed in all of this if this is true. Belichick doesn't need shenanigans to win. When I say shenanigans, I'm talking about outside of the rules. I'm not talking about formations and all of that stuff that is within the rules.

But this and Spygate? Completely unnecessary. I don't give a $h!t if other teams are doing it. That's a lame excuse. That's an excuse I don't accept from my 10 year old son.

The guy is a great coach and has built a great team. Going overboard and doing things that will ultimately hurt the team (draft pick loss) goes against his mantra of "doing what's best for the team".
