The few bad decisions

Disagree. Gronk was double-covered and Brady was forcing it. He should have looked elsewhere or thrown it away. He cost us at least 3 points there and the Colts took it the other way for their only score of the game. At the time it was a momentum changer, but luckily it did not matter and Brady more than redeemed himself. He seems to have one of these bad throws per game lately, all when targeting Gronk. He needs to be patient in getting him involved in the game and wait until he is open or at least single-covered. He's got to correct this for the Super Bowl where I suspect points will be at a premium.

it was thrown behind gronk, so it was a bad throw......neither defender was in position to make a play on a properly thrown ball.....it was a good call, bad throw

Not sure why but he has one horrible pass a game it feels...can't do that vs Seattle.

That pass never should have been thrown, period. Gronk was bracketed perfectly.

Underthrow of Edelman on what should have an easy TD. Also threw short on Vereen's terrific catch.

The wind was howling at 20mph and gusting to 40 when he threw that. I'll give him a pass on that pass. He got it there at the worst part of a day on which the best young arm in the league couldn't get the ball there most of the time.

On the Gronk pass, I would call that a bad throw in a low-scoring game, if they are trailing by more than 3 late. There was a window for a ball to get in at 7 to 9 feet off the ground in front of Gronk. Coming when it did, however, it was a bad decision and a bad throw.

There's times when taking that risk to Gronk is worth it, but I didnt get it there. They were killing the Colts with everything they did. No need for that risky play.

Having Brady Minitron and Gronk in the game in the 4th quarter with a 6 score lead is my only nitpick.

not true........period
You're being nonsensical. I was at the game, saw it happen real-time, saw the replay on the big screen, have seen multiple replays since. I don't know why you think throwing that pass was a good decision on Brady's behalf. Gronk was bracketed (translation: covered by two defenders and not open), the pass was forced, it never should have been thrown. HE WAS NOT OPEN!

if it was thrown in front of him, neither defender would have had a chance......the ball was thrown behind gronk, forcing gronk to slow his crossing and put jackson in the perfect spot.....if the throw lead properly it would have been a TD.

I saw it many time approx 10 feet away from a 70" HDTV.......I obviously had a better view than you.....

HE WAS NOT OPEN BECAUSE OF THE THROW!

some of you are so ridiculous in your assumption that you know more

My only complaint is there were times when they really needed to let Blount run the ball. Instead they pass or put Vereen in.

Were they not seeing what Blount was doing to that Colts team?

But, thankfully, there weren't too many of those times. We mostly played great.

Blount ran the ball 30 times.....I'm surprised they didn't go to Gray a little earlier

Right before this play I thought "this is going to be a bloodbath". Then after the interception there was about 10 minutes of a competitive football game. And then a bloodbath.

my nits to pick are:

- even though the call was questionable, wilfork did not have draw the unnecessary roughness call
- the manner in which they handled the drive at the end of the half left something to be desired
- calling that pass toward the end of the game that got brady leveled was pretty high on stupidity

that's it for me........the pats executed and that's all they had to do in this game

Good choices all.

Wilfork was way across the personal foul line, for no good reason; just a sloppy play.

Running out of TOs in the first half limited the ability to score.

Brady took an unnecessary hard hit late, with more being risked.

1st and goal at the 3 and you run 3 straight passes? WTF?? Blount was a beast at that time and it was a no-brainer. How about a little powerball? Put 'em away. Sometimes Skippy can be a real head scratcher....like he's afraid to use the dagger.

I was pissing and moaning about that for a while. In a close game that could be a deal breaker.

I hope BB gets on his case for that one.

Agree. He was blanketed.

The wind didn't have much to do with that throw, it was just Tom trying to aim it in there rather than throwing it. Even the best have a tendency to succumb to "just don't screw this up" thoughts when guys are that wide open.
