This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions and insightful observations regarding today's 2014 week 12 game vs the Detroit Lions. Please do not start other threads concerning or during today's game as they will be merged or deleted.
Game time is 1 PM ET at Gillette and will be televised on FOX.
The Lions have a very good defense and are really good against the run. I would not be surprised if the Patriots come out spreading the field, playing fast, and using short passes to wear now the Lions DL. But BB will probably do something the total opposite of what I think.
Have to get rid of the ball fast, this is type of defense Brady struggles against, accuracy is the word of the day for me. On the other hand I can see them slowing down to make sure protection packages are well established before the snap.
I'd start Dobson today; spread em out with Dobson, LaFell, Edelman & Gronk with Vereen in the backfield and go up tempo no huddle with a lot of short stuff.

FOX doesn't have the national doubleheader this week so it never had a chance to be flexed to 4pm. It was either SNF or 1PM and NBC was never going to flex out of a Cowboys game.
