Well he had time on Monday at times yet they decided to have 5 RB and 3 WR active. While the two deep threats were in street clothes. And it was really 2 WR because Amendola is basically useless right now.
The guy had major foot surgery. Why are people ignoring this?
Belichick said today there is a difference between being in shape and in football shape when talking about Browner and Tyms. Why isn't this the case with Dobson. He is healthy enough to practice but hasn't regained that extra gear or confidence in planting the foot to cut.
Dobson may not be, but he hasn't been given the time or chance to potentially develop into one because he certainly has all the measureables.Neither Dobson nor Thompkins is a true deep threat.
I kept this in mind a few weeks ago when wondering about Dobson. But he hasn't been on the injury report. And they started him against the Vikings. Perhaps that was a mistake
