Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Raiders Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Not pretty but a win is a win. I am sure the media will still be talking about the offense, however this is how we won in 2001 !!

I thought this is what some people wanted the defense being as big a reason for a W as the offense?

I'll take a hard fought win like this. It'll get us ready for the playoffs more so than blowouts.

This team is a lot closer to the 2013 team than it is to the 2001 team.

Yay!! First place!!! We're rolling now!!! :bricks:

A win is a win, I will definitely take it. Hope we improve by next week

Winning is winning

2001 was a long time ago. This is a new era in the NFL.

People need to realise that was the Raiders season. This team is going to need the D to step up while the OL is sorted out. Going to be plenty of close games until that happens

If we put another 16 point effort in a championship playoff game like in our last 3 playoff losses, we won't be holding the lombardi trophy. Our offense has a long way to go.

2001 defense was exponentially better than current D. I think this defense against a legimate good offense it will be exposed.

This team is a lot closer to the 2013 team than it is to the 2001 team.

This game reminded me of the first Jets game last year. Playing at home, neither team doing much of anything in the way of TDs, and the Pats winning due to the incompetence of the opposing QB and the D making enough plays to bail out the deficiencies on O.

We just survived our trap game with a W. The Raiders were going to give us their best shot. The Patriots inspire the best game of the season out of bad desperate teams annually.

Solder needs to get his #^%@ together though.

Solder has been pure crap all season and it's the biggest problem right now. When Brady actually had time for 2-3 plays the offense looked fine. They need to figure something out quickly with this offensive line, they're just terrible.

People need to remember that Revis is coming back from injury and it has only been 3 weeks. Lets reserve judgement till the halfway mark.
