It's a long season. Wilson could go down for the year next week. Sherman too. Any Pats fan should know this. But Seattle does look just as impressive as they did in the preseason.

I don't know about repeating...it's only week 1...but I agree, that defense is incredible. If the Pats defense could be 80% as good as Seattle's, that would be a major improvement IMO.

Seattle is a complete team. Good run defense, good pass rush, good pass defense, good running game, solid passing game.

GB has huge holes, and have been that way for years. I never thought they were true contenders, though as the 2012 Ravens proved, anything can happen.

What worries me here is that BOTH teams have a pass rush that demands that the opposing QB run outside the pocket and throw on the run. How can the Pats deal with this?

Seattle is about to run away with this. There D is just too good.

This is the 2003-2004 Pats all over again. Barring injuries or a Saints home field advantage, I can't see how Seattle doesn't reach the superbowl. Brady's the only QB that can attack their D. Noodlearm has no chance and Rodgers decision making is still the only downfall of his game.
