We have a poster here with the ability to judge how a player that doesn't play due to injuries compares with a player who does play. I don't have that ability.
If Vereen hadn't broken his wrist I doubt Woodhead would have seen much third down time and we had Ridley, Blount and Bolden at running back.
Do you think Woodhead would have outplayed both Vereen for third down snaps and the stable of running backs for carries? I don't.
I say that quote overrates Woodhead and I illustrated my point by evaluating how i think he'd fare had Vereen and the rest of the running backs been healthy.
