There is lots of hope that one of the 4 quarterbacks is still left at 29 so that we trade down (or even pick the quarterback).

Even if the quarterbacks are not there, many would want to trade down a bit since the difference between 29 and 49 seem relatively small.

Are there folks wanting to trade up? Do folks like Pryor, Mosley, Shazier or a WR worth a trade up?

If one of the supposed "locks" on defense or even Ebron fall, I would like a trade up. If BB is trading up for a guy, I'm fine with it because it means he's completely sold on him. I'd be fine with Pryor, Shazier, Donald, Ebron being trade up for. There's probably others but those came to mind right away.

Calvin Pryor is the guy that I'd love to see in a Pat's uniform. I think he's the first safety off the board though.

also, Is there anyone else that's thinking Justin Gilbert may fall a bit? based on what I've been hearing, Fuller and Dennard may possibly be selected before Gilbert. Maybe if Gilbert falls, he could be a safe pick. It's also insurance if Revis doesn't stay another year.

I would trade up for Pryor in a second, but not into the top ten of the first round. If he fell into maybe the 22-28 range, I would take that trade up. He's a guy that has FS coverage skills but hits like a SS. Other than that, just stay put or even trade back.

Why would anyone want Brandon Meriweather 2.0 on the roster, let alone trade up for him?

There's like 4 players worth trading up for and the amount that it would require to do so isn't going to be worth it to Belichick - Watkins, Evans, Mack & Clowney. With how deep the draft is I hope there's a QB sat at #29 having fallen so Jacksonville, Houston or even Cleveland want to move back up into the first.

If it was such a sure thing that Pryor is "Meriweather 2.0" then he wouldn't be a suspected top 15 pick.

handfull of players I would trade up for as far as right before the Jets. Donald, Ebron, Evans, Barr.

Smaller trade ups if these guys are available: Shazier, Beckham, Filo

The 'sure fire' players would be too expensive to get to. From there, it depends on who's sliding.

I like Pryor too. He's the only player in the secondary I would move up for. he would solidify our secondary. He has nothing in common with Meriweather, who was a cheap shot artist. Pryor squares up and makes big hits. Meriweather was kind of cowardly. Didn't like contact when people were running at him, but would pick his headshots when a WR/TE wasn't looking. His attitude and work ethic were his downfall though.

I would trade up a couple spots (not too many) for a WR like Marqise Lee, who I think could provide Brady with a legitimate #1 target until he retires.

Too bad this is a bad year for DT/DE/TE, because thats what we need the most.

We all want to move up--for a better pick. But then what are we left with--we ain't got much to start with. The perfect scenario for us is to trade down into an early second and third or into an early second, forth, and fifth. That wd put us in the best possible position.

I would not trade for any of those players, except maybe Donald.
Yeah, I'd like to see Pryor in a Pats' uniform, but i definitely don't think he's worth a trade up.
The way i see it, players in the range between 25-50 haven't much of a difference in quality, this year

I would only trade up for Aaron Donald. Otherwise more likely we trade backwards to get more picks.

NO!

The only players that I would target are:

Clowney
Mack
Watkins
Evan
Donald
Ebron

All of those players will be gone with the first 10-14 picks and we do not have the resources to move up that far and even if we did we would have nothing else left to fill holes.

Don't think it's the year, but Draftek has Ebron consensus #19. If he dropped into the mid-low twenties I'd think it's worth considering.

I am not so sure you would like to see Donald in a Patriots uniform; he is a player that has a lot of bust potential in my opinion. He is very talented but he makes many mistakes and misses many tackles.

It really doesn't seem to make much sense this year, although nothing is ever out of the realm of possibility. Belichick will play it out much like last year and see if someone offers him a great deal for the pick and take it if it materializes. I would be really surprised if he moved up, he would have to love the player.

If I am going safety I am taking Bucanon, he has Rodney Harrison's game.

I don't see safety as a priority, but if they go there go really nasty.

I say make a threat to move up in front of the Jets and watch Wrecksie go beserk trading half his picks to move into the top ten...

If Anthony Barr slips to #20... do you trade our 1st and 3rd for him?

I would make a move for that. He has a ton of potential. Tall, long arms, decent weight (but needs to bulk more). Played RB and DE.

He could back up Chandler and Ninko. Play DE when Chandler kicks inside on 3rd downs. And eventually replace Ninko in a couple years.

Huh? Are we watching the same guys? I think Donald is one of the safer guys in the draft. He might not live up to his top 10 billing but he'll always be a contributor if only as a sub package inside guy.
