Browner is used to seeing a lot of passes going his way having played opposite an elite CB so he will be fine with being paired opposite Revis too you would think so it makes him the perfect #2 CB.

Hopefully Dennard doesn't miss 4 games thanks to Goodell so he can start the season at #2 then move to the Nickel when Browner is back.

i hate the "better first then right", the "hey look at me, i can tweet, too", the "richard sherman just used a public restroom and didn't wash his hands" passed off as news, and the "i need more followers" aspects of it.....

Free agent CB Brandon Browner cancelled his visit with the Redskins.
Browner is believed to still be up in the Boston area trying to finalize a deal to join Darrelle Revis and the Patriots. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport initially reported Browner was signing a two-year deal with New England. Browner's agent vehemently denied the report, but we have no reason not to believe a deal will get done.

IMO - will be done. Probably wording of the contract, as he has in the past failed drug tests. Cover Pats liability, if he falls off the wagon...

Anyone who is a big sports fan and is invested emotionally into their sports team should:

a) Have a twitter account and be following the links connected to their team

b) if you don't have an account then at least check the tweets of people in the know surrounding your team so that you're up to speed.

Anyone who thinks differently and thinks twitter is not important when talking about sports needs to step into the 21st century instead of waiting for newspaper print every morning.

I joined 3 days ago....started following the national NFL reporters only......and it's awesome to get the reports faster than reading PFT/any sports website/talk radio. I'm hooked......just another addiction/distraction to keep me less productive..........which is nice

Logan Ryan did look good as a rookie yes but how do you think he would handle the sheer volume of traffic that would be heading his way with Revis shutting down the other side?

If he handles it then great - the Pats have 4 starting caliber CBs on the roster!

We need to cut Arrington ASAP, that guy suuuuuucks. Never seen a player who is more liable to give up a big play or stupid PI in recent memory than him. Unless he is getting vet min he should not even be close to this impressive group of corners (assuming Browner is in that group of course)

Arrington is very good in the slot - he can't handle the big guys outside. He also played the last half of last year with a torn groin.

Cutting him COSTS money.

Cutting Arrington just isn't smart salary cap wise. If he ever is gonna get cut it will be '16

Of course he is. I said that the minute his deal was announced. It was a horrible contract, especially in a bear market for CBs last year. But we're stuck with that deal for at least 1 more year, possibly 2.

I'm wrong person to ask...but...I just keep the twitter page open on my computer....following 7 reporters......the tab at the top informs me how many new tweets there are....go back to page and click on "new tweets".....and viola. I'm staying away from the phone....
