Hey speaking of them!
Reports are that revis won't take a pay cut, even for the patriots

He's going to have to come 4pm. Nobody is throwing more at him obviously and even teams with plenty of cap space aren't willing to give him 16 a year.
Offer him money, he likes that. What good will this do?
I don't think Kraft was talking about an once in the generation player like Revis. He was talking about doing what the Broncos are doing in going gangbusters on multiple free agents and throwing huge money at them.
Then we should prepare ourselves for another crushing postseason loss to the Forehead, which would improve his playoff record against Brady to 3-2. It already makes me sick just to think about.
Well, we will see Rob. The only time the Patriots have paid the #1 salary at any position was for Brady. If Revis wants to be the #1 paid CB, as hypothesized, I don't see it happening in NE.

...and Moss, and Wilfork, and Mankins, and Gost just to name a few. Difference is these guys were already on the team. The Pats don't have much of a history (outside of maybe Thomas but I would have to re-visit his contract) of signing outside FA's for top dollar in the free agent market. A move for Revis would be a complete change of policy for them. But it would single handidly go a long way toward solidifying the defense.
