Well at least that's better than this:

You should've specified that is NOT Amendola.

His knee could be swollen or it could just look that way because of the way he has his legs bent.

Yeah considering he is already able to be working out and walking without crutches he looks good. Isn't he able to start running soon?

I'm totally unbiased on this statement but I wish for this dude nothing but the best and a SB MVP next season.

this is a very uneducated opinion but that makes me very optimistic to see him doing some sort of weight lifting while standing up. One would think he could do a similar excercise from a sitting position if his knee required it.

Obviously he still has a long road but given ACL recovery time these days and a picture of him on his feet working out I see no reason not to think he will be ready for the season and possibly some or all of camp.

Felger:The real question here is, why is Gronk wasting time holding puppies when he should be rehabbing and studying the playbooks? Another terrible contract from Belichick and he has to be held responsible!
Mazz:I absolutely agree Mike. Also how about Josh Beckett? What an *******.

Based on this photo, it is my professional medical opinion that the leg needs to come off. Immediately. In fact, lop off both, it's the only way to be sure.

well, for perspective, he is two months removed from surgery at this point. I had his same surgery (ACL, MCL) one month ago, and am now allowed to be training with weights as well.

Also, the swelling in the joint will be normal for 2-4 months, and its just part of the recovery process. Nothing really to learn from these photos, other than he was able to avoid any staph infections.

I gotta have this surgery done on MY lower unit....little Joe could use some swelling...

Rriggin' great! Pic of Gronk gone metro holding a tiny rat dog. Jetsfans will have a fun time with this.

I think he looks pretty good. The pics don't worry me, but Gronk in general does. As much as I like him as a player when he is out there, I don't think he can be counted on to be out there. I think if the Pats want to stay with an offense that relies heavily on good tight ends, they should be looking for the next Gronk & Hernandez combo in this year's draft or via free agency. If the real Gronk comes back any time soon, then he'll be gravy, but I wouldn't be counting on him for this upcoming year, or maybe not ever, in terms of being an every day, 16 game, consistent good player. Wish I felt differently...

Mazz post script: "...and Mike, the Red Sox have never been the same since they let Texeira slip through their fingers to the Yankees."

They have this amazing medication now,,,

I'd do anything to change from Freddie Flaccid to Boingy Baxter....life is cruel.

Yup, my thoughts exactly.
