considering he never worked here, how does he come back?

Maybe he did work here and nobody else ever found out. They do run a pretty tight ship up in Foxboro.

Well you were never here in the first place but welcome back I can't see why this would be a problem.

It's all easily understood when you get to the source of their confusion..

Yes, the Lombardi is coming back to New England.

:rocker:

Michael Lombardi seems like a swell guy.

About Cleveland, I found this information revealing:

Since November 2012, the Browns have fired two head coaches (Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski), two general managers (Tom Heckert, Lombardi), one CEO (Banner) and one team president (Mike Holmgren). In Jimmy Haslam's 17 months as owner, the organization has employed a whopping 56 coaches.

That's unbelievable.

Typical that they would replace a Lombardi with a Farmer.

The reach picks in rounds 2 and 3 will finally be challenged.

Well he finally has Mallett.

We have the best 3rd string GM in the league! Yeah!....

You know when Browns fans are celebrating a guy being dumped it's hard to get excited about him coming to your team...

I wonder if this affects Caserio, maybe Lombardi will focus on contract negotiations and salary cap.

Sounds like the perfect time to be getting excited.. :heh:

Kind of like what Floyd Reese did for us?

I'm wondering if Caserio is planning on leaving next season for a full GM job (that's better than the Dolphins gig). Lombardi could be spending the year as a "consultant" and take over the role next year.

I was thinking along the same lines

Now sign Greg Schiano!
