Seriously. The whole "bang bang" play argument is completely stupid. What's the point of replay if we're going to say, "Well, the replay shows catch fumble, but when you look at it in real speed, it could be ruled incomplete."

Isn't the whole point of replay to slow it down and get the call right? If we're going to put so much emphasis on real speed, what's the point of replay altogether?

Pretty weak series there by SD. Bumbles get a short field to close the half*, then ball to open the second half.

*Edit: Unless Tate does that thing where he runs backwards with the ball. Not very smaht.

After the NFL changed Jerome Boger's grades so he could get into the Super Bowl last season, I don't think they matter much.

Triplette and his crew should have been eliminated from any playoff consideration after the 1st down/4th down stupidity in Washington. And if that wasn't enough, the next week he gave the Bengals a TD because he forgot to check if the runner was down by contact. :bricks:
